Problem
You need to connect to the Konami VPN to access internal systems, file servers, or development environments while working remotely.
Solution
1. Open the Konami VPN client on your workstation (pre-installed on all managed devices).
2. Enter the VPN server address: vpn.konami.internal.
3. Enter your Active Directory credentials (same username and password as your email login).
4. Select the appropriate VPN profile for your role: 'Corporate' for general access, 'Development' for access to development servers and build systems.
5. Click 'Connect.' The connection will take 10 to 30 seconds.
6. Once connected, the VPN icon in your system tray will show a green indicator.
Troubleshooting
1. If the connection fails, verify your internet connection is active.
2. If you receive an 'authentication failed' error, reset your password using the password reset portal (see the Password Reset article).
3. If the VPN client is missing from your workstation, submit an IT ticket with request type 'Software Request' and specify 'VPN Client Installation.'
